Chemical technology - I degree study

The Faculty of Chemical Technology provides full-time and part-time studies of the first and second degree.

Chemical technology term means a technology department that produces industrial products as a result of a series of chemical processes. During the course of studies the student will gain a reliable basic knowledge of general and inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. On this basis, a broadly understood technological knowledge will be developed, including the basics of chemical technology, inorganic, organic and electrochemical technology, supported by engineering subjects (engineering graphics, material science, chemical engineering, process equipment). Diversified and attractive offer will allow obtaining both theoretical (lectures, exercises) and practical knowledge (laboratories, projects).

A graduate of first degree studies will receive the professional title of engineer. He or she will obtain basic education in chemical and technical sciences and knowledge of chemical technological processes. He/she will obtain basic skills of managing human teams and the company. The graduate will be prepared to start professional work in the chemical and related industries and companies related to the production of modern materials - in positions related to the organization and conduct of production processes, as well as to run an independent business. The graduate will be prepared to undertake second degree studies.

Mode and duration of studies

The first degree stationary studies last 3.5 years (7 semesters) and end with a professional engineering degree. The first degree part-time studies last 4 years (8 semesters) and end with the professional title of engineer.
